Summit Stack Co. was founded by Jake Gunnell, a BYU Information Systems student and full stack developer focused on building modern websites, business systems, and scalable digital solutions for growing businesses.
The company was created with a simple goal: build websites and software that are clean, fast, professional, and actually useful for the businesses using them.
Rather than relying on generic templates or bloated systems, Summit Stack Co. focuses on creating modern digital experiences that are designed around performance, usability, and long-term scalability.
Whether it is helping a local business establish a stronger online presence or building more advanced systems that streamline operations, the goal remains the same: create technology that is modern, reliable, and built with purpose.
Alongside client work, Jake works as a Full Stack Engineer for the BYU Silver Fund, one of the oldest and largest student-managed investment funds in the United States.
In this role, he contributes to a production-grade analytics platform used by portfolio managers and analysts to evaluate portfolio performance, benchmark data, and investment metrics across multiple funds.
Projects have included investment analytics systems, nonprofit operational platforms, business automation tools, and custom websites built for organizations looking to modernize their online presence.
Summit Stack Co. offers solutions ranging from lightweight static websites to fully integrated business platforms with dashboards, forms, authentication systems, and custom backend functionality.
